I'm Back!!!!

You probably thought I would stop blogging just because I moved. But nope! I'm back! It's just been really busy the past few months. We packed up my toys, and moved to a completely different state!

I was worried that the Easter Bunny might not know where I am now. But Mom said that Santa and his Elves make sure to let the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy know when kids move. Even better, they try to keep the Boogie Man that lives under my bed out of the loop.

And don't worry... when we packed my toys we didn't throw my baby sister in the box too. She moved with us. She changed a lot since we moved. She can pull herself up, she crawls around, she has 2 whole teeth, and she's always putting my toys in her mouth. I don't like it when she does this. They get all wet and gross.

Do they have carousels where we are moving?

I still need to have my very special interview with Mommy about this move to Williamsburg, but until then... I'm taking advantage of her and Daddy taking me to the carousel. It's one of my favorite places in the whole wide world. This is me on the Spinny Thing. Dad just stands next to it, but Mommy gets in and spins with me. She usually regrets it cause she gets a little nauseous. She also learned the hard way to get her coffee at the Starbucks across from the carousel AFTER we do the Spinny Thing.

Mom hasn't been around much because she's had to go down to Williamsburg to start her job. But she says I'll like it there because there are horsies and sheep and lots of other little kids there. I'm not sure what to expect. But I'm taking it day by day. Right now I'm focused on one thing: MY BIRTHDAY! Next week. March 27th.

Yoga with Sadie

I've been giving yoga a chance, but it's hard. I like lacrosse, and basketball, and games where I run around. So, being quiet for a moment is actually kinda hard. When I'm in crowds, I'm more Zen-like. But at home, it's all about getting bonkers! Especially if I have a bowl of Trix.

(Note from Sadie's Mom: Say no to Trix. After checking the amount of sugar, we changed to Cheerios immediately. It's amazing her head didn't pop off. Here's a photographic example of the results.)

Here is my interpretation of this "yoga" stuff. And is it Namaste or Llama-stay? I like llamas- they are like camels, but not really. I also think all yoga should be done in big poofy skirts - they allow for lots of movement.

*Gulp*

I lost Blankie. We went to the shopping center with the Barnes and Noble and the restaurant with the Fire Truck, and it was really, really windy! So windy that the tree that they used for the Christmas Tree at the White House - it blew down! I had it when I got out of the car. But somehow in the course of the day... I lost it. But Mommy said another little kid must have needed Blankie more than I did, so Blankie decided to go with the kid. I was sad. But then Mommy said it was time to go to Target because a new Blankie needed to choose ME!
This is me and old Blankie. She was a great friend.
So we got in the car (Dad and Mom looked like they were gonna cry, so I kept quiet.) And we drove to Target. I got in the cart and SHAZAAM!!!! Like magic, it took off! And it was going here and there, and turning around, and doing all sorts of crazy things. And then it stopped in front of a big display of Blankies. And the new Blankie picked **ME!!!** She's light pink on one side, and has pink, brown and white stripes. And she's soft! Really, really soft!

I thought old Blankie might come back and visit, but Mommy said it's good to love and miss the old Blankie, but now it's time to make new memories with new Blankie. I think I'll be okay, and I hope that new kid really takes care of old Blankie. To be honest, she was a little worn out - and she accidentally dipped herself in Mom's lasagna the other night.

When new Blankie is well-adjusted in the family, I'll take a picture and introduce you to her. She's really quite lovely.
