Leonardo DaVinci vs. Jackson Pollock

Daddy had a "Parent / Teacher Conference" with Miss Amy today. It was their first one. I guess that it is the formal term for Daddy and Amy talkin' about me behind my back. Miss Amy said that I was doing great and sitting longer in "Circle Time" - my feet want to dance sometimes. I communicate well with my peers (Lucie and Jacob are really nice.) But she also said that I don't like to get dirty during fingerpaint time.

She's right. I don't.

Daddy said that was okay. I am more of a Leonardo DaVinci painter than a Jackson Pollock painter. I prefer working with brushes rather than fingers. Here's one of my first experimentations. I call this "Rose Petals". It is currently hanging in my Mommy's cube in the Smithsonian. That's right... the Smithsonian. I aim high.

"What are you doing here?"

Yesterday Nana and I went shopping at Kohl's. We just needed to pick up a few things. But then, right in front of me was my teacher from preschool... MISS AMY!!! I found it very confusing because I thought Miss Amy lived at the preschool. I didn't know she existed outside our playroom. I thought she ate there and slept there and played there. She was always there when I'm there.

Totally blew my mind. First, Mom and Dad weren't always married. Now this. What's next? I've been hearing rumblings that Nana has another name other than Nana. Jeez.

Here's a picture of me and Miss Amy at our Halloween party. She was the Queen of Hearts - and I thought that suited her well.

Mommy wanted Brad Pitt to sing me to sleep...

... but I got this instead. She even wouldn't mind having Sheldon (Jim Parsons) from the Big Bang Theory singing me to sleep.

I won't go to sleep easily until Brad Pitt sings me to sleep. Period.

I was thinking about getting a tutu...

... since I love dancing and jumping to the tune of Final Jeopardy and the opening credits of iCarly. So, I thought, "I'll Google it!"

This is what I found:
It's the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street. That means Sesame Street is older than my Mom!!! The new season starts on November 10th.

If I could live anywhere in the world, I'd live on Sesame Street. It seems like a nice place, with nice little monsters. We don't have little monsters on my street. And I even like Oscar. He's just misunderstood.

But then I thought... there's more than one Sesame Street. So I did a bit of research. AND Takalani Sesame's Kami is on the South African Google logo! WAY COOL! You can see all the Sesame Streets around the world by clicking here.

Boomba and Chamki are from India.

Ieniemienie is from the Netherlands.

Abigail is from Israel.
And, last but not least Mexico's is Abelardo!

Indonesia decided to stick with Cookie Monster.... one of my favorite monsters.

I was a Little Fancy Fairy for Halloween!!!

And sometimes, the magic is just bursting right out of me!

Okay, in reality, Daddy took a picture with the flash, just as Mommy took a photo with her iPhone. And this was the result. But I do love that awesome glow!
