I Want a Dog!!!

So I can dress him up in funny clothes. I'd name him Frank.

That's my silly moment of the day. I hope you enjoyed it and made your Monday a little bit more fun.
Love,
The Sadiebug.

This is why I won't sleep in my big girl bed.

Yes, I've had a cold this past week. So I haven't been sleeping well. But that's not why I don't want to sleep in my big girl bed. Mom and Dad might think I'm being silly, and that I'm just "being a toddler". Well, I'm 2 1/2 years old and I know when something is fishy. It's dark in my room and I don't like being alone in there.

So I went online, and did a little bit of research looking for the different kinds of monsters that live under beds. As much as Elmo is an awesome little red monster, I believe the thing under my bed is NOT a cute little red monster. My conclusion is that this is what is under my bed.

I think we need an exterminator or something.

I've been told I'm a Wild Thing...

And Mommy and Daddy don't understand why I'm not all gung-ho about sleeping in my room with my new bed. (Dad turned my crib into a big girl bed over the weekend. But frankly, I wanted to sleep on the floor.)

Here's my reason: Because it's scary!

It's really dark. And there are monsters, and things with lots of arms and legs that are under my bed, and don't get me started with that thing in the closet. I don't even know what that is - but it makes funny noises. But lately Mom reminded me that Elmo is a monster, and so is Zoe and that blue one, Grover. Cookie Monster is just a little kooky around cookies.

So now I'm rethinking this whole "monster" thing. I think it's just a bad stereotype. Now that I think of it, I can be a bit intimidating too. I'm big for my age, and that could be a little scary for some people.

I Think School is Totally AWESOME!

(This is me on my way to my first day of 2 year old preschool. I met a lot of cool people.)

I have a lot of names to learn...

I like learning people's names. Mommy and Daddy help out a lot. I ask the guy at Wendy's what his name is. And I ask the lady at the bank. And I ask the man at the store. I've met a lot of people this way. I just look at them and say, "Name?" and they tell me. Now I'm going to preschool tomorrow, and my teachers are Miss Penny, Miss Amy, and Miss Pilar. Miss Penny wears cool Converse sneakers like me. There are going to be a lot of other kids and I have to learn their names.

But then I learned that Mommy and Daddy have OTHER names. Apparently, Mommy is known as Stephanie and Daddy is Charlie. I like saying his name. Sometime I just yell it around the house, like Mommy does. "Charlie! Chaaarlie!!!"

And we have last names too!!! This is a bit overwhelming, but I'll get it.

I just want to show off my pretty pink shoes...

This is me and my Mommy at Miss Mindy's wedding. I went for a girly pink ballerina look.

When it was time for me to go down the aisle as a "Blessing", I brought Zoe to help make me be brave. There were a lot of people looking at me.

But y'know, I really love Zoe's style. She knows how to rock the tutu.

We couldn't make it to the Hootenanny this year...

... which was a bummer. Since we can't be there, I thought I would share some picture of me and my Grandma.
We always spend time together each week. And she reads Old Hat, New Hat to me and we munch on some yogurt. She also teaches me manners, like to sit at the table, say "Please" and "Thank You", and how to put my toys away.
Even though we couldn't make it to Canfield this year, she wanted me to tell everyone else that we say "Hi!" and to eat a Corn Dog for each of us. You might be pretty full after all of those Corn Dogs. And don't forget to say hi to the Great Pumpkin!

Here are my pictures from last year's Hootenanny.

I WANT A PONY!!!

But Mommy said I'm not old enough. So I got this instead. A virtual fishtank.

Thanks. (Insert smarty-pants look here.)

Apparently, you can feed them by clicking on it. Yeah. It's not the same as a pony.
