Mommy and Daddy keep talking about "Preschool"...

Next fall, I'm going with a bunch of other 2 year olds where I'm supposed to learn stuff. It'll be on Thursday and Friday mornings. If it's anything like Storytime, I'm lookin' forward to it. But then, when I'm done learning stuff at all the "Preschools" -- then I go off into the big league.

Kindergarten.

This is how I imagine it:

Luckily, there was an artist who had the same idea of what Kindergarten looks like. His name is Philip Straub, and you can see more of his work here.

I also heard Mommy and Daddy talking about possibly moving into a bigger house in the future. All three of us have a lot of books and not a lot of room. I also like having toys, and they take up even more room. So, here's my dream house:

My room is in the carrot.

Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian

Mommy and Daddy will probably have a date night on May 22, 2009. I'll probably be at Nana and Poppy's watching an Elmo video. Here's the preview of the movie. Mommy said they actually filmed it on location at the Smithsonian Castle and at Air and Space.

One of my favorite ways to occupy my time...

... is to try on shoes. I love Mommy's shoes! They are a little big on me, and sometimes I get them on the wrong feet, but I get bored with my sneakers. I've pulled out most of her shoes and given them a whirl. These boots are my favorite!

I go into her closet and pull out as many as I can. She gets a little peeved when she trips over them. She's lucky to have so many shoes, in my opinion. But really, let's be honest, I love being barefoot more than anything!

Hey, maybe the girl gorilla in DC and the boy gorilla in San Francisco...

... could arrange for a playdate! Playdates are fun when you are little. You meet, you play together, and then you give each other big hugs when you say goodbye. I had a fun playdate at the office where my daddy works not too long ago, but I messed up the big hug part. Max and I tried to say goodbye with a big hug and instead we ran into each other and bonked heads. I hope the baby gorillas don't do that. It kinda hurts.

But Baby Boy Gorilla doesn't have a name yet, so the San Francisco Zoo is having a contest. You can enter it here. I like the name Bob. It's simple. Bob the Baby Boy Gorilla.

Mommy is going to the Castle to fight a dragon....

... that's how I heard it. She sometimes goes to the Castle and she talks to people at a roundtable, like a knight. They discuss important grown-up things. Like President Lincoln's 200th birthday. He must be really old by now. And tired. But anyway, here is a neat video. I learned a lot from it.

I love going to the Castle. It's big and pretty and has cool stuff in it.

It's a GIRL...

... Baby Gorilla at the National Zoo!!! Isn't she cute? The parents are mom Mandera and dad Baraka. They haven't decided on a name yet.
You can see them in the Great Ape House in Washington, DC... but if you can't make it you can check out their website here. You can also learn a little Ape Etiquette too. I need to brush up on mine.

Mellow Music Moment....

*Sigh* It's Wednesday, but I'm thinking of Tuesday. My mommy read her mommy's blog, and afterwards, my mommy started hugging me more and told me how awesome I am. This song makes me feel better about the whole thing. My mommy doesn't know Tuesday's mommy, but she says that doesn't matter. There's a Mommy Club that once you are in it, there's a code to stick together especially when things get really, really tough. Tuesday and I were born around the same time, so my mommy is really sad for her mommy.

*Gasp* I WANT THAT FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I'm turning the big 2 at the end of March, and I'm on the lookout for cool stuff that is "Sadie-approved". Mom wants to give her two cents, but really, it's MY birthday. Here's my big three:
This is a Baby Blackberry. Nana uses her Blackberry all the time, and I pretend Daddy's travel alarm clock is mine. But this is way cooler. And I learn my alphabet a little better. You can read more about it here. Unfortunately, it may not be out until Summer. But this is so cool, I'll take the raincheck and put my name on a waiting list.

I love Little Missmatched! Mommy says she hates wearing boring stuff to work because she has to look "professional". So, I figure, if I have to look "professional" someday, I might as well have fun now while I'm a kid and can get away with it. At my age, missmatching is "adorable". You can get that missmatchy stuff here.

And everyone knows I love Sesame Street. I can't get enough of Abby Cadabby. Elmo is pretty cool too. Anything you buy at the Sesame Street Workshop helps support programs for little kids like me in other countries. And I think that is really, really cool.
