Mom and Dad are both really sick...

... so I'm trying to sleep more so they can rest. We're all kind of snotty and gross right now.

OW! That hurt!!!!!

Hidee Ho! It's me... Miss Sadie.
I'm not in a great mood right now. My mom and dad took me to see Dr. Sherri today... and I got 4 shots! And they hurt! Mom kept saying it's for my own good. But still. It hurt! Now I have 2 Bugs Bunny band-aids. But I did grow to 22 1/2 inches, up an inch and a half since my last visit. AND I'm a whole 9 1/2 lbs! They say I'm an "average" baby. Puh-leeze. I'm NOT an average baby. I'm Miss Sadie. But this cold is getting me down. And Mom and Dad still sound icky. Oh, and I stole Dad's camera and took a picture. These are my feet. Dad said I can't get Baby Birkenstocks until I can walk. Baby Birkies are cool.

Daddy does my hair....

Sadie here... what's up? Check out my cool onesie. People keep looking at my dad, and then look at me, and then look at him and say,"You have the same haircut!" It's making Dad a little crazy. Poor Fuzzy Face. So, Pretty Lady got me a onesie that says "Daddy does my hair" since I can't use my words yet. I'm working on it. Funny noises come out... but I still have to yell when I need somethin'.

Mom took me to work today!!!

And I met lots of people. There was this one pretty girl named Melinda Jane... she has black hair and smells nice. She held me and fed me for awhile. Mom (aka Pretty Lady) had to look at books. I don't know why. We have lots of books at home. But it seems like she really likes having books around. I was hungry all day. I should sleep really well tonight since it was such a busy day. I hope that doesn't freak my mom out. My tummy is bigger now so I can sleep longer. Mom should sleep. She looks tired. Dad (aka Fuzzy Face) looks really tired too. I think he's sick. He took something called Nyquil and told Pretty Lady that he was going to bed.
Oh, yeah... it's me, Sadie. I forgot to tell you that. Silly me. Hi!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

It's me, Sadie again. Mom and Dad are really tired. While they are napping I thought I would play on the computer. I have games that I play with them all of the time.

Here are my favorites:

1. The Kicking Game: When they try to change my diaper, I try to kick their hands away. I do really well at this. I have strong legs.

2. The Did She or Didn't She Game: This one is really funny. I fart. They check to see if I need to be changed, and when they take off the diaper, I pee all over them, my clothes and my diaper pad cover. Then they do laundry. I laugh.

3. The Superman / Supergirl Game: They always put a bib on me. I don't know why. So, I grab the bib, and turn it around so it looks like a superhero cape. Then I dribble my lunch down my front and on my onesie. The onesie soaks it up really fast. I usually smell a little funky after that one.

4. The Other Kicking Game: Dad holds me on his chest while he's laying down. We relax. When he's not expecting it, I kick him in his secret spot. Then he hands me to Mom.
5. The What Is She Going to Do Next Game: Mom and Dad get paranoid. I wait. This makes them nutty. It's funny to watch.

Oh, and to my Mom, Grandma, Nana and Nainie... Happy Mother's Day!

Me and My Nainie!!!

Hi! It's me, Sadie. That's a picture of me and my Nainie. Don't know what a nainie is? I didn't either. It's what the Welsh call a grandmother. I have a Grandma, a Grampa, a Nainie, a Poppy AND a Nana. I'm a lucky kid. But everyone calls them something else. Two of them pay attention when you say "Bill", one looks up when you say "Nadine", one likes everyone to call her "Debbie" and the other likes "Sue". I find this all very confusing.

We went to the Baltimore Aquarium while Grampa and Nainie were here. The fish were pretty, but I was tired. I slept through most of it. But we had fun.

I'm hungry. Oops! And I think Mom needs to change me. I'm supposed to call her "Mom", but I like to call her "Pretty Lady." That Dad guy is "Fuzzy Face."
