It's my first Halloween!!!

I'm so excited!!! I have a lot of people to see and I'm going to show off my awesome costume. I'm a ladybug this year! As soon as I have pictures, I'll put them on the blog. Until then, enjoy this baby elephant playing with a pumpkin. If you see me flying around... definitely say hello...

... and don't give me candy. I still can't eat it. My two top teeth are coming in and, boy, do they hurt. Plus... I'm a baby, silly. Babies don't eat candy.

Yaaaayyy for Andrea!!!

About a month ago I wrote about my mom's cousin's wife's niece who was pretty sick and in the hospital. After a bunch of icky doctor stuff, they are finally going home! I bet Andrea's happy she'll be home for Halloween... I know I would. I think they were going to head out of the hospital as soon as Andrea finished her cereal out of her princess bowl.

It took me about seven minutes...

... to figure out how to get out of this pod thing. There are two ways. First, I straighten my legs out and then roll out. OR I lean forward like this and roll out. I think Mom and Dad were impressed with my brilliance and Houdini-like ways, because they both yelled out, "Ahhhhh!!!" at the same time. For the record, I surprised myself and cried a little until they gave me a bottle. About 5 seconds after the bottle hit my lips, I was awesome. (As usual.)

Here's a close-up of my pretty dress.

I kinda liked chewing on it. It looked so soft and yummy, I couldn't help it.

I forgot to mention...

I got baptized!!! That's my dad, my mom, me and Minister Mark. I was paying attention because he was telling me what the rules were to get to heaven. I don't think it will be a problem.

I also got a certificate that says I'm a Christian, but I'm not sure if I'll need it as my ticket to heaven. What if I lose it? I lose lots of things. Most of the time I just throw things out of my stroller just to watch them fly. It's fun.

I hate baths...

... but taking my shirt off is a lot of fun!

Um... I forgot to wish my mommy a happy birthday...

I'm new at this....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOMMY!!!
Yaaaayyyy!!!!

I don't know a lot about baseball...

... but how did Cleveland lose to the Red Sox? I don't get it.

Me and Fuzzy Face are kinda bummed.

For the record...

...I don't like baths. I didn't like it the first time, I don't like them now. I know I have to take them or I stink like old formula... but still, it's not fun for me. I don't care how many duckies you put in my bath... it doesn't make it any better.

Wow, Mom, You are OLD!!!

Today is my mommy's birthday. Compared to me, she's really old... but to some people, she's really young. I don't think she's too bothered by being another year older. She told me this morning that she was just happy to fit into a pair of pants that she got on sale at Anthropologie. I'm hoping for Fisher Price for my birthday, but whatever rocks your crib.

It's Friday!!!

Me and Daddy get loco on Fridays!!! Fiesta Time!!!!

This Blog was brought to you by the letter S and the number 2!

I Met Someone FAMOUS!

Fuzzy Face finally uploaded my pictures on Shutterfly... and now I can brag about how I met ABBY CADABBY from Sesame Street!!!!!! She was at the National Book Festival, and so was I and we got together for a few pictures. She didn't say much, but she's pretty and soft. And colorful. She's recently moved onto Sesame Street. She always has her fairy wings and her wand. Someday, I want to grow fairy wings. I was checking out her wand in this picture.

This is my flirty look...

It makes men swoon. They turn into to tubs of jelly. Even the minister who is baptizing me on Sunday thought it was sweet.

Um... can someone tell me what a baptism is? Mom said something about some water and Minister Mark said he was going to lift me up for everyone in the congregation to look at me. It sounds kind of like what they do with the cub in the Lion King. I have to wear a pretty dress since everyone will be looking at me. I hope I don't Dump Truck.

New lingo in the our house...

Mom and Dad have a new language for things that I do now. Here's a couple...

Dancin'!!!: When they hold me up and I try the whole walking thing. I'm not quite there, but I like the feeling of my feet hitting the floor.

Drool Bomb: It's coming out of my mouth and I can't stop it. It usually lands on Mom or Dad's shirt.

Dump Truck: I pooped.

We Got a Stinker!: I pooped really bad.

Faker: They thought I pooped... but I didn't! It was just a fart. Ha Ha!

Time for a baaaathhh....: I stink like old formula.

The Christening of the New Outfit: I spit up on it. Usually about 4 minutes after they put me in it.

The Exorcism: When I spit up with gusto.

Elephant Hunting: When I turn on my changing table to play with the elephants on my wallpaper border. It makes it hard for them to change my diaper, and my tushie gets a chance to air out.

Blind Changing: This is when Dad tries to change my diaper in the middle of the night without disturbing me, but then puts it on weird so there is a "surprise" in the morning.

"The Surprise": I pooped.

Mommy says it takes a real man...

... to wear that outfit.

Hi Cookie!!! You make me laugh!!

Me and Grandma...

This is a picture from Labor Day (again). Fuzzy Face still has the other ones on his camera. But this is me and my grandma. We laugh a lot. When I'm at her house, we listen to Alison Krauss. She has a pretty voice. It makes me nap pretty easily. Lately, I get really antsy before I'm supposed to sleep. I always think I'm going to miss something. And then I make lots of noise. Then I conk out. I think it drives Pretty Lady and Fuzzy Face crazy.

Ohhh... that's why he was mad...

Um, I forgot to mention that Kasia isn't exactly the BEST horn player. She's good, but I think it got on Cade's nerves.

My cousin Cade was having a "moment"...

I'm working on getting a few more recent pictures of me 'cause I keep growing so fast!!!! But this is from the Labor Day weekend when I was in Canfield for the Fair. These are my cousins and some of their friends. Cade wasn't diggin' the Hawaiian shirt at the moment, but he got over it. Kasia is playing the horn, and her sister Zoe is having a laugh. Kate, Isabel and Vivian are all smiling properly in their pretty dresses in the middle. And Grace was getting comfy on the porch in her rockin' yellow shirt. Cade is her little brother. That's me in the lower lefthand corner, hanging out in my car seat. That's Tyler in his car seat flying in on the left.

It's been one really rough week for my family...

It's me, Sadie. It's been a really crazy week. I'm just a little kid, but my family has been sad lately. My Nainie's mom passed away (my great-grandma - Great Nainie?), and we're trying to be really supportive right now. I'm going to try to post a bunch of pictures of me smiling 'cause I know she likes that. It makes her day a little brighter. Plus, if she's looking at my picture, she doesn't have to hear me yell like I do sometimes. (I'm still a baby whose gotta yell sometimes, you know. I fart on occassion too. And drool.)

I also wanted to give a shout out to my cousin's cousin (it complicated), Andrea, who has been really sick recently. They think it might be something called Leukemia, but we do know that Andrea isn't feeling very good. Being a kid can be tough sometimes. That's her picture up there. I just wanted to send her my love even though we don't really know each other. Baby kids need to stick together. That's how we roll.

I asked Mom what Santa looked like...

... and she said he looked like my Great-Uncle John. That's him in the middle. Grandma is on the left, and my Great-Aunt Nancy is on the right. Mom said they are all "siblings". I wonder if I'll have a "sibling" someday. I think "sibling" means a brother or sister.
Anyway, Santa looks friendly.

That's a really big pumpkin!!!!

That's my Uncle Eric, Grandma, and Uncle Bryce at the Canfield Fair with one of the biggest pumpkins there!!! This is my first autumn, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Mom went to Babies R' Us and we went shopping for some warm clothes. She said it was going to get really cold and she'll need to bundle me up. She also said that it's just a few months before Santa comes. I'm not sure who this Santa is, or why he's so important, but Mom said it's a pretty big deal for most kids.
