Hi Everyone! I want to wish you a very Happy Obama Day!!! Mommy worked hard to make sure a bunch of other kids are having a great time at the Inauguration, but we decided we would stay out of the city (and out of the 19 degree temperatures) to watch it together at home. Some of Mommy's friends are out on the Mall or working today! I can't wait to hear their stories. Mommy is really excited to see all of those people from all across America hanging around her workplace. She sometimes has meetings at The Castle, and she's proud of all the hard work people do every day to protect our country's history. I don't know a lot of our country's history but I'm learning. Here's some neat information about the Smithsonian during the Civil War!!! I particularly like Oscar the Grouch at the National Museum of American History. That was awesome!
