It's not easy being a little kid. Nope. It's not.

And you can get it here.
I'm so excited! I love books and I've gone every single year since I was born. This will be my third! The Library of Congress organizes it, and from what I've heard their library is humungous!!! I think Daddy wants to have a collection that big, but Mommy keeps saying our house isn't big enough. As long as there is enough room for my toys and my books, I don't mind.
Here's a picture from my first National Book Festival way back in 2007. You can tell I was having a great time.
It was also the first time I met Abby Cadabby in person!!! She was really nice. And her dress is really pretty.
But I'm excited that Mo Willems will be there. He writes books for kids like me. I keep hoping Santa will give me Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale and Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity. Word around Toddlerville is that they are really, really good. And it teaches you not to leave your Abby Cadabby in weird places... like the bookstore. Like I did a few weekends ago. Luckily, Daddy found her and we were reunited.
First, I ask people what they want. Mommy usually wants pizza. Sometimes she asks for weird toppings. She'll say, "Do you have pineapple?" Sometimes I say yes and sometimes I say no. It depends on the shipment. Freshness counts.
