Everyone keeps pickin' on me and my hair (or lack of...)

... so I put a hat on and decided to play in my exersaucer for awhile. I can't control this hair thing. It's coming in a little thicker, but I'm not like other babies who come out all stylin'. I'm a low-maintenance girl.

But when it does grow... it'll be gorgeous!!!!

With all this teething talk...

... here's a picture of me with a full smile... and four teeth. That fifth one should be coming soon.

It's a different view from up here.

Pretty Lady said that I have become a full homo sapian now that I can stand upright. I just got tired of looking at the ceiling actually. Fuzzy Face pulls me up, and I can do this for a few seconds, then I look at the ceiling again. I think Pretty Lady needs to dust the ceiling fan.

*sigh* Make that FIVE teeth...

I'm teething again, and this next one is making me want to munch on anything I can get my hands on. Including this Halloween card from Grandma. Can someone tell me how many teeth I'm supposed to have? I thought I was done at four.

*sigh*

I'm exactly 8 months old!!!

I had no idea I grew so quickly! This is me when I first came home. Look at how tiny I am. And my bottle is tiny too! And I didn't have teeth back then. I have four now. Two on the bottom and two on top. Pretty Lady looked so yummy yesterday, I bit her. Apparently these teeth are quite the chompers!

I had a great Thanksgiving...

...but I will honestly say... I don't like peas. I tried eating them last week, and, well, I thought they were gross. They are a funny color, an icky texture, and taste gross. I'll drink formula forever before I have peas again. Mom says I might change my mind about this. But I think this picture says it all.

I did try mashed potatoes today. I thought they were going to taste like cereal, but they didn't. I didn't mind them too much. Then Grandma tried to give me ice cream... and it was cold. Really cold. I'm not used to that. Pretty Lady said that I'll NEVER eat peas now that I've had the sweet stuff. But actually, I think I'll just stick to formula and cereal for awhile. Pretty Lady said she's going to try carrots next... but that orange color kinda freaks me out. I'll try them, but I'm not promising anything.

I like to shop online too...

...cause I find cool stuff. I always do this with Pretty Lady since she said there's some "inappropriate things out there". We found these awesome galoshes... but unfortunately they are almost sold out. But I thought they were so cool that I would share them with you. Of course, I'm still working on walking, so I can't use galoshes yet. And I'd buy them anyway for the future, but like I've said before... they don't give babies credit cards.

I like the word "galoshes"... it's fun to say.

Mommy lost most of the baby weight!

This is how she did it:

Fuzzy Face thought it would be funny...

... to take a picture of me while I was sleeping in my bouncer. You see, I really like getting comfy when I'm resting. Especially when I'm wearing my tie-dyed Grateful Dead onesie. I like the bears on it. And I like the colors. They're happy colors. Anyways... this is me sleeping. I'm a little embarrassed that I really let it all hang out. But that's just the way I am.

One of these days, I'll put a picture up of Dad when he's sleeping.

I like doggies.

This is a picture of me meeting Cleo for the first time. She's a Maltese... but really, she a little dog with big fluffy white hair. She's pretty and soft. I had never met anyone quite like her. We got along really well.

Mommy flew to Boston yesterday...

... and I asked her if she wanted to borrow my ladybug wings. She said she had big girl ladybug wings, and they must have worked because she was home in time to put me to bed. I like my wings.

But I also had to go to see Dr. Sherri to get my second flu shot. Fuzzy Face felt a little funny in the waiting room because he was the only one with a fuzzy face. All the other people looked more like Pretty Lady. But Dad was great and he made sure the shot wasn't so scary. I cried for about 5 seconds and then realized it really didn't hurt as much as I thought. And I got a Tweety Bird band-aid. I like Tweety Bird.

Mommy has her dancing youtube clip...

... and I have mine. I like hippos.

Fuzzy Face flew me around all day...

This is me and Dad. He drove me from party to party. He says it's like "Driving Miss Sadie". I don't know what that means. I guess only old people know the movie reference.

Sadiebug!!!!

Remember my soft and yummy pink dress? The one I liked munching on? I felt the same way about this little dress too! Plus, I'm teething, and I have needs.

This is my Halloween costume. I went to a lot of parties, won a bunch of costume contests and was wiped out by the end of the day. I was only disappointed about one little thing... my wings don't actually make me fly. Pretty Lady said it's because I'm baby human, and not a real bug. And that Halloween is just so we can PRETEND. But Fuzzy Face lifted me up so I could feel like I was flying. And that was a lot of fun. I'll try to put up some of those pictures up later.

Finally! A family picture!

Usually Pretty Lady takes a picture of me and Fuzzy Face or Fuzzy Face takes one of me and Pretty Lady. We finally have one with all three of us! Who cares if I forgot to look at the camera? I went for a more ponderous look.

I'm still waitin' for Fuzzy Face...

... to send my totally awesome flying ladybug picture. But until then here are a few from my baptism. That's Minister Mark. We had a special moment together right before he held me up in front of everybody like the monkey does to the lion cub in The Lion King. He would be the monkey, I would be the cub.

People thought it was interesting that I didn't cry during the baptism. Why would I? It was just a little water on my head. Yes, I'm not a big fan of bathtime, but a little water on my noggin' wasn't bad. And during the service they had a bell choir, and it sounded really pretty, so I had no reason to yell. But the sermon made me doze off. Couldn't help it. Mom said it was hereditary.
