I LOVE bein' an American! This is me on the steps of the Lincoln Monument. (He's, like, 200 years old this year.) And the spirit just moved me. I thought, "I could've been born anywhere in the world. But I got to be one of those crazy Americans! They are NUTS." So I fit right in.You can see the Washington Monument right behind me. It was a foggy day.
That is a great pic! Went to Washington DC about 7 yrs ago, loved it, walked miles and miles!
