Princess and the Pea

Mom was invited down to Colonial Williamsburg for another round of interviews and Dad, Georgie and I decided to go with her to see if it's a place where we want to live. But I found the hotel room to be a bit challenging. I love hopping in and out of bed for a whole bunch of reasons. But apparently you aren't supposed to do that in the 18th century.

And can I still blog if we move to Colonial Williamsburg? Did they get wi-fi back then? This could be a dealbreaker for me. If I can't get YouTube, I'm not goin'. And Mommy paused when I asked her where Sesame Street was on the map when we were in the Visitor's Center. But I liked William & Mary... I might consider it for college. We'll see.

Okay. Georgina can stay.

I've come to the conclusion that Georgie can stay with our family. I kept bugging Mom about taking her back to the hospital, but she wouldn't budge. She said she brought me home from the hospital too, and she didn't send me back when I cried. I guess she has a point.

So I'm trying to make the best of it. I like tickling Georgie. And that makes her smile.

But that kid drools a lot and gets it all over the blanket.

Ew. Gross.

I wish it snowed more....

I remember last year it snowed A LOT. So much that Dad said some naughty words after digging the car out. But this year... not so much. And I find that to be a bummer. But it finally snowed a little bit the other day, so Mom and I went out and had an awesome SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!

Well, I fought harder than her. She was covered by the time we were done. Then I went to preschool and told Miss Shannon about our awesome snowball fight. And she drew this picture for me. I think it captures the battle very well.

But for the record - I WON!!!!
Hahahahahahaha!!!!!

It's hard to be serious....

... it hurts my eyebrows. I don't recommend it.

I'm quiet, but I don't like quiet clothes.

If you've met me in person, you know I'm not a big talker. Sure, I have a lot to say at home to my parents, but when I'm out and about - I tend to be lost in my thoughts. Which is why I love museums so much. I'm lucky because my parents and grandparents love taking me to museums, and zoos, and other places where I can look at stuff and quietly think.

So, before Christmas, we went to the Norman Rockwell exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery. Mom is a BIG fan, and she got a glimpse of it a few weeks ago. But when it came time to go, I decided that if I was going to go to an art museum, I should look.... creative. So I looked in my closet and decided on this outfit.

Apparently, people in Washington, D.C. don't see awesome outfits like this very often, because I got a lot of big smiles, a few laughs, and occassionally a look like this:

A lot of people were about to go on their Christmas break, so people asked my Daddy, "Did she dress herself? Because she looks fantastic!"

I then did a modern dance for them, which ended in this pose. Thank you. I'm available for quiet cocktail parties and fundraising events.
